I've been told of the middle seat is the safest spot for the car seat. That being said, we plan to use a convertible car seat from the get-go with our infant (I am well aware of the pros and cons of this).

Does it work to put a convertible car seat in the middle seat? Or does that make it too difficult to get the baby in and out?

I want our baby to be in the safest spot but I don't want to set myself up for extreme difficulty every time we get in and out of the car...
