What kind should I take?

I'm 19 and I took birth control for about half a year but it made me too emotional and very mean. It was a pill, anyone have this problem and have an alternative that they tried that works?

I was on the Depo shot for 3 years and LOVED it never had my period, rarely spotted, and never got pregnant. I would recommend it to everyone but all birth controls really do depend on the person. Only reason I took it out was cause I read taking it for too long can cause complications with getting pregnant in the future.

Try a different kind of pill. Maybe something with lower hormones

I'm on the implant Nexplanon & I love it! Had some light bleeding for about 2 months, but haven't had a period since. Very convenient! Much better than pills because you never have to worry about missing it! Highly recommend.
