Hcg level and ovulation

I found out I had an ectopic pregnancy on the 23rd of last month and had to have emergency surgery. I lost my right tube. I had some light bleeding that started 3 days after my surgery and lasted about 3- 4 days. I don't know if my hcg level is still elevated or not, as I haven't had any labs done since then. But at the time of my surgery my level was at 2900. It's been 2 weeks PO on Sunday and my SO and I have had unprotected intercourse a few times starting at one week PO. My question is.. is it possible to ovulate before having at least one menstrual cycle? I have heard of it happening to multiple women, but if my levels are still elevated, would that matter? Anyone experienced this or know someone who has gotten pregnant so quickly after EP and removal of a tube?
