Ovulation pain and twins

This is my second month taking letrozole. We have been TTC for 8 months. I have never experienced ovulation pain before, but today I have had menstrual type cramps at day 13 of my cycle and this morning, I got a positive on my ovulation test. So my question is...

Is getting ovulation pain a sign of hyper ovulation? I just want a healthy baby, and nervous about complications if I conceived twins.

So if you are a parent of multiples, was your ovulation notably different when you conceived twins versus a singleton pregnancy?
