How do ovulation tests work?

I used one yesterday faint line, then I used one this morning.. No line.
But Glow says I ovulate on the 15th, I'm so confused?  Does this mean I ovulated a few days ago, because the line was darkish yesterday.

The ovulation tests are much more accurate than glow for me. Along with CM keep testing every day. When the test line is darker than the control line you will ovulate in 12-36 hrs

This is what my positive looked like when control line is same color or control line is lighter than it's positive remember don't drink too much liquids it's best to test if you don't pee for like 3-4 hrs
