How do you skip your period with the NUVA ring? Is it safe?

I used to. I would take it out after the 3rd week and put a new one in. So the hormones would be consistent and I’d skip my period. Never had any issues

You shouldn’t. It becomes less effective if you keep it in the fourth week.
