Progesterone @ 3dpo??

Question

I have an blood draw tomorrow to check progesterone at CD21 to confirm ovulation, but I’m pretty confident I ovulated Sunday on CD18 (expecting crosshairs in the morning). Called my OBGYN to see if it should be rescheduled & they said no... Shouldn’t it be done 7dpo?? What can they even find out??

I am in your exact same situation! I got my peak today so I’ll probably ovulate tomorrow and my day 21 will be 3 days past that🤦‍♀️.  Let me know what happens in the end!

It has to be 7 days past dpo and 7 days before your next period. The number can confirm that you ovulated and it can tell you if you are having low progesterone levels or not, if you are, then they can put you on supplement if needed.

By 3dpo you should see elevated levels of progesterone. But usually done like 5dpo. Are you doing it with a fertility doctor?
