Should girls play wrestling?

My daughter is wrestling for the first time. I was talking to some of my friends and they said it might not be a good for a girl to play on an all boys team

Your friends are misogynistic. If your daughter wants to wrestle and wrestle on an all boys team, she can do it

I feel like girls should and can do what boys/guys do. I played a boy ish kinda sport and I felt confident, like I could do what any guy can do, it just made me feel good to know I could do anything. So now my mind set is like if I can do it then do it. And I will he raising my daughter that way.

The girls were some of our best wrestlers on my high school's team. It builds confidence. If the girl enjoys it, good for her!

There was a female wrestler at my high school and she was one of the best, competing in state tournaments and everything. She will be fine, she won't be wrestling anyone above her weight so she should do it if that's what she wants to do. This is how we break barriers! Get it girl!

My sister was the only girl on any team in the county in HS. She actually ended up injuring her knee during it but it didn’t hurt her like emotionally or mentally. She and her friend tried out for the football team too.
