Anyone have an Apple Watch?

I just got my Apple Watch 4 Series and I’m scared to get it wet. Anyone have one and it’s totally fine? I know, odd worry since they’re suppose to be “water proof”, but they’re so expensive that I’m scared I’ll ruin it. 😅

Apple employee here! 😊 None of our devices are waterproof, they’re water resistant. Meaning you can get submerge them up to a certain depth for a certain amount of time before you’re in trouble. I’d still be careful tho, it only takes one drop of water to slip where it shouldn’t & the whole thing stops working 🙄😂

I lost mine at the bottom of the ocean. Someone dove down and got it and called my mom to have me go get it lol it still works perfect.

You’ll be fine with getting it wet. I go to the beach with it and shower with it, no problems!
