Smoke from stove
I don’t know if this is something major to worry about but I’m uncomfortable enough to say something about it. In my house we have a fairly new pellet stove, bought within the past few months. And it’s a huge pain in the ass. But lately in the past week and a half or so, we’ve started noticing that it’ll let out a huge puff of smoke right above the front door and it leaves the entire house smelling like smoke. It’s currently 3am and pregnancy insomnia has me wide awake, and all I can smell right now is smoke so I know it recently did it again. It’s just me and my grandma living here and neither of us know what to do about it. But if we turn it off we’ll freeze as it’s our only heat source. We currently have about two feet of snow outside. I don’t know if it’s something wrong with the pipe that allows the smoke to go out the roof, or something to do with the stove. But this smoke in the middle of the night can’t be good for either of us and I’m worried. Any advice on what the heck I should do because I’m lost. Picture of stove attached.
