Braxton Hicks?

What do Braxton Hicks feel like? FTM so I’m not sure. I woke up this morning a felt like period cramps once for like 10 second and then again for like 5 seconds then nothing else.

It’s tightening of the uterus

My ob said to lay down and place both hands on your lower belly, if your entire lower belly gets tight/hard then it’s a hicks contraction.

My belly would get hard and they would take my breath away. They were never painful, just uncomfortable. Earlier in my pregnancy they would last 15-30 seconds. Later on they would last 1-2 mins.
