Help!!! Any advice??

I had my iud removed the end of January after having it for one year. I’m 42 & TTC baby number 2. I have a 3 year old. I had a period right away however I’m into day 17 of my cycle & have been doing ovulation kits daily (sometimes 2 times daily). I have yet to show a positive LH surge. So disappointing. I feel like I’m broken. Am I just getting my hopes up to think this is ever gonna work?????

This is Normal after a iud hun. Give it a couple of months to get back to normal. Or take meds to start a period and go from there

I'm 43 had my copper IUD in for 8 years been trying for 3 years and 2 months. Have 2 grown children already. Fell pregnant after taking a fertility pill sold online. It worked but lost it in a MC after 5 weeks in September. Still trying. I'm thinking the cause was the IUD not sure tho. Best of luck to us all and baby dust.

Hey. I’m 39 and had an IUD for 4 years before taking it out recently. I’ve had issues with viability ever since. I’ve lost two pregnancies in a row. I’ve been to see several doctors. What I gather is that, in your 40’s, you have to be more patient. He assured me that I can carry to term, but finding a quality egg may be a challenge. I’d go see my gyno to see if they can check your hormones and start the process in case you need medical intervention.
