Breastfeeding HELP!!

Kayla • 27🎂 - 👣💙01.20.2019❄️

Good morning ladies!! 😊

So I’ve been breastfeeding for about a month now and having complications with not producing enough milk for my son who’s eating like a crazy animal 🦒🦓

In the beginning I had trouble with him latching, which then led to me being extremely traumatized and not wanting to feed because the pain hurt SOOOO bad!

I had seen the Lactation Consultant 5 times for help.

My boob feels raw and like I rubbed sandpaper all over them. I wear a nipple guard but even then it hurts at times through it. I rotate it on one feed then the next off so that he can stimulate the areola into producing more milk.

I rotate boobs for him to get more, but still not enough.

I’ve been trying* to pump but can’t catch a break from doing that, putting him down to sleep when he wakes crying and I feed again and from there I pump after then get next to nothing in a bottle. (Less than 2oz from both boobs)

It’s literally almost every hour he feeds for a bit.

He’s not tongue tied, but I think it’s bc I have smaller nipples and they won’t pop out?

I’m drinking Mothers Milk Tea and taking Fenugreek pills and honestly I don’t know what more I can do.

I’m emotionally and physically exhausted 😩. I will NOT resort to Formula as I do not believe in it when our bodies were made to provide for our own.🥰

Anyways, maybe someone has an **recommendation or **opinion to help a Mama out how I can somehow produce more milk.

No expressed words of discouragement or disagreement to what I have decided is BEST for my baby. I am trying my very best and I am full of emotions right now.

Thank you ladies 💜

He is putting on good weight, saturated diapers. I just need to figure out how to produce more milk and stop the “every hour” phase and make it so I can pump after and get a good supply in a bottle.
