I had my yearly appointment with my ob this morning. I talked to her about help ttc. I was diagnosed with pcos at 20 I am 29 now. I have been with my current ob for about 5 years and she did an ultrasound when I first started seeing her and she said I had borderline pcos only had cysts growing on one ovary. My cycles are pretty regular every 28-29 days. Well I have been ttc for 15 months and had an ectopic last March. She prescribed me metformin cause she suspects my pcos is trying to sneak back up due to current weight. She gave me a 4 month prescription and wants to see me when it is done if the metformin does not work she wants to do metformin and clomid. I was a little disappointed she put me on metformin first due to the fact that I have regular cycles. I am just going to trust that she knows what she is talking about and hope it helps me conceive.
