I first got on the pill in 8th grade because I had really bad periods. My periods were irregular, my cramps were so bad I couldn't move and I always knew my period was coming because in the morning I'd take my shower, then things would start going black and ove I'd get out of the shower, I'd throw up everywhere. It was awful! I'm now 22 and married and my husband really wants kids. Besides the fact that I'm scared of pregnancy and giving birth, I'm also afraid that getting off the pill will revert me to my old periods which means I'm taking at least a day or two off work every month like I used to have to do with school. Has anyone who started on the pill due to bad periods then got off the pill after several years have their old symptoms come back?
