Vitamin D for infants?

Is this necessary? And is any brand safe for infants?

If you are exclusively nursing, it is recommended to give baby 400 iu's of vitamin D each day. I think it's usually by the prenatals? It'll be drops that say they're for baby.

When I was breastfeeding I was told to give vitamin d to my LO. Since I have switch to formula the doctor said I do not need to give it to her anymore. If you go ahead and give them to her make sure the bottle says for infants.

I read bad stuff about Enfamil making babies really gassy and fussy. I tried organic mommy’s bliss I believe and I felt he was more fussy. So I started taking a supplement recommended by my OB and I’m going to ask the pediatrician to make sure it’s enough but I like that better because I just take it when I take my regular post natal.
