So my friend has been with his girlfriend on and off for a long time - they have a lot of issues and she acts super immature so they break up quite often. Well the last time, he told me that she was ignoring him and rejecting his calls, which he said she does all the time and it turned into an argument where she burned stuff a shirt that was supposed to match his, and just a bunch of drama. He asked for my input so I told him that I thought maybe it’d be better if he was over it and he even started saying that he’s done being mistreated and all that. Well the next day I’m scrolling through Instagram and I’m realizing he’s posting pictures of them together (we follow each other) so I asked him. But i wasn’t mean about it or anything, I even told him that if it’s what he wanted to do, I would be happy for him and support him. But he kept denying it and i told him if he lied I’d be really upset bc I thought we were close, to which he swore up and down he was being honest. He said his ex hacked his page so he made another one, so he had me follow this one. Well as I’m looking through Instagram, I come across her page and there’s Valentine’s Day pictures and other pictures w them together. Honestly my feelings are kind of hurt, not bc they’re together, but bc my friend felt okay lying and going through so much effort to lie. Am I overreacting?
