Ugh. I am so frustrated right now. After 3 previous “episodes” of prodromal labor over the past 2 weeks (which thankfully did at least make some progress with my cervix each time), I am just SO OVER these “false alarms.” Saw my OB on Wednesday & he told me I would likely go into labor within the next couple of days. Tonight, I started having very firm contractions lasting anywhere from 30-90 seconds. From 10:45pm-1am, they were happening regularly but inconsistently (anywhere from every 2-10 minutes). They didn’t seem to be increasing in intensity, but they were definitely very firm & had a definite “peak.”

It’s now 3:20am and it seems like maybe they are fizzling out? Still having the contractions every 5-7 mins, but they aren’t always as intense & only last 20-30 seconds 😒 I’m a little ticked. Anyone else ever had this happen before labor kicked in?
