Hcg level 3827, seeing GP tomorrow for first ultrasound.. will we see anything?

My doctor/specialist will not do an ultrasound until HCG levels are close to 10,000. This prevents unnecessary stress on the moms. He did my first ultrasound just a little over 6 weeks and we heard and saw the heartbeat.

Mine was 44,500 and we saw a gestational sac, a yolk sac and a fetal pole but no baby or heartbeat.
