Nursing strike

Has anyone dealt with their baby going through a nursing strike? My boy is 8 weeks old and all of a sudden refuses to nurse and just wants a bottle. He nurses normally only in the middle of the night when he is half asleep. Right now I can’t even get him in position to even try to offer a boob bc he knows that’s the position of nursing and he starts screaming and flailing around. It breaks my heart as it really feels like my baby is really disconnected and hates me. I want to so bad have nursing be soothing for him like other babies.

I’ve always had a heavy let down and heavy flow esp on my right side. He has always hated that side and has always given me issues. I think he was going through a growth spurt bc he started cluster feeding a week and a half ago. That paired with me eating a lot of oatmeal bc I was worried that maybe he wasn’t getting enough to increase my supply resulted in both breast producing a lot of milk. I started noticing him having a harder time than usual with the left breast now after that although managing just fine initially just unlatching a few times or spitting out the extra milk. My mom has been watching him a couple of times this week so my husband and I could get some alone time so he had the bottle. Could him having and easier time with the bottle now make him not want to nurse? He used to hate the bottle and all of a sudden he has pulled this switcheroo. It’s so stressful and disheartening 😔
