I had the best Valentine's Day ever!

Our lives are busy, too busy to care about holidays like Valentine's Day anymore. We both have full-time jobs,he works 6 days a week 10 hr days, I go to college 3 nights a week and have an online class. We have a two year old and baby on the way. Oh and two large dogs that need attention and lovin too!

I've always loved Valentine's Day and used to get upset if he wouldn't do anything but this year I was just too tired to even think about it. We decided we'll go out to dinner in a couple weeks to celebrate and that's all I wanted.

We kiss and leave for work like any other normal day, when I get home ( I always get home before him) I walk into a trail of rose petals leading up to the bedroom, to find tons of rose petals on our made bed (him making the bed could've made me just as happy) with 1 single red rose, a box of chocolates and the most heartfelt card I've ever received.

Obviously I start balling! How'd I get so lucky? A man that knows how much I love love and why I love Valentine's Day, he put thought into it just to make me feel extra loved.

He shows me everyday how much he appreciates me and loves me by cooking and cleaning when I'm stuck on the toilet because 1st trimester nausea is no joke! By working as hard as he does yet never once complaining. By being present and the greatest father and the most loving supportive husband I could've ever wished for.

The night ended with the best sex we've had in months! Ladies, get yourself a man who takes the time to learn your love language. Who treats you as his equal, who values your opinions. Who supports your dreams. Who loves you endlessly and unconditionally. They're out there! I had to go through a couple bad eggs before I found my Golden egg. Don't ever settle!
