Third Test Negative

I missed my period on the 13th and took a test in the morning; it was positive. Then took a digital test that night to be sure; I received another positive. This afternoon I took another digital test to be sure, but it was negative. Is this because it wasn’t taken first thing in the morning? How very confusing, especially after I gave my husband the good news!
