Last December, I had a deep vein thrombosis and had to stop taking my "normal" birth control, plus I'm taking blood thinning medication. Because of this, I bled really bad during my last period and so the doctor prescribed a progestative pill to control the bleeding for next cycle. Now here's the problem: I haven't had one yet, and it's been over a month... I've been using condoms all the time, plus the progestative pill. So I haven't started freaking out. Yet... Can anyone who has taken this kind of pill confirm that it can stop your period all together? Or do I start to panic and go get a pregnancy test? 😬
