So I’ve had my IUD for two years now and have never had a problem. I checked my strings yesterday and they were higher than they usually are. I decided to check them again a few minutes ago and could not feel them. I know expulsion usually happens in the first couple months if it does happen, so I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue after having their IUD for an extended period of time. I’m currently treating a yeast infection with a suppository. Do you think that could have pushed my strings up?

I’m going to make an appt. with my gyno ASAP, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue

UPDATE: checked again and I can feel them, they’re just very high up. Gonna keep an eye on them till Monday when my doctor is open and see if they’ve come back down at all.
