Have any tricks they use to put baby to sleep.

We like to change our 7 week old into pyjamas before bedtime. Even if her outfit is barely soiled.  She will then come into bed with me where I nurse her to sleep. I have a dimmable salt lamp next to the bed she loves to gaze at as she nurses and then drifts off. Once I think shes really out she goes down in her bassinet next to our bed. Just what's working for us this last week!

We bathe her at 8pm every night (yes I know it should be earlier but I have older kids who need time with me) do lotion, pjs and a feeding then she’s out by 8:30ish. We also had to get her this fisher price rock and sleeper which was a game changer for us! She wakes up about 2 times a night for a changing and feeding.

My daughter refused to sleep properly for almost 2 weeks. She would take 5 minute power naps constantly but that was all. Her doctor had us use children's nyquil or children's melatonin about the time you want them to go to sleep. After about a week her sleep has regulated and we don't have to give her anything before bed. 
If you dont want to give medicine to help with sleep walmart has oils for babies. There are 3 of them, $8 for one or $20 for all 3. One of them is specifically for sleep and slumber it works amazing for my daughter around nap time. 
If you don't want to use the medicine or the oils Johnson's baby nighttime soap and lotion should help out.

Both my kids have been great sleepers from the start, I change them and feed them right before bed and turn all the lights off including the tv. I always try to put them to bed within the same hour every night. My newborn knows when it’s time for bed at night.

Bath time, pajamas and lotion, then rocking, feeding, and white noise. His first stretch is usually 4 hours then he wakes up every 2.5 hours after that. He usually eats 3-4 times total. 
I foolishly started his bedtime routine at 6:30 to have him in bed by 7:30 and now he wakes up too early in the morning so my goal this week is to Try not to put him down until 9 pm so he sleeps longer.

Whenever y’all put yalls babies to bed, how often do they wake up during the night to eat? I haven’t even attempted to establish a night time routine because mine sleeps 1.5-4 hours then eats, & repeat! She will be 5 weeks tomorrow & is my first baby.

Around 8pm we change diaper, put on lotion/pajamas/swaddle then just sit in the rocker and breastfeed while I read her a book in dimly lit room
