Hello! I am a first time Mom, my baby is 3 months old and I went to the doctor last night and was told I have mastitis. Man this is seriously awful! So painful! I feel like I got hit by a Mack truck : ( fever, chills, nauseated, super bad headache, and my whole body aches. Literally hurts to move.

I just started antibiotics and am continuing to pump every few hours. I am trying to massage the one side, but it hurts so bad it makes me feel nauseous. I am not getting a lot of milk out of that side either. I am putting a warm compress on before pumping and icing after.

If you guys have any other suggestions as to how to get rid of this quickly and relieve the symptoms, PLEASE share them. I would really appreciate it! Thank you!!!!
