Implanon and periods. Month long cycle.

So I got my implanon about a yearish ago now and for the 1st 6 months of having it I bled for 6 months, depending on the day it was either light or heavy, either way it was terrible.

But now the last couple months my cycle lasts for a couple weeks at a time.

I need to talk to a doctor about this but I don't have insurance right now. So I guess I'm just wondering if other women have experienced this perpetual bleeding also? And are there any ways I can help to lighten or stop it, without extra hormones, I already did that and it made me sick. Cuz I'm about to just have the stupid thing taken out.
