New to pcos.

I recently was dx with pcos the beginning of August. I noticed the beginning of 2015 my periods started to become abnormal. In June my period that should have lasted 6 days..lasted 40 days! I went and had a pap smear and blood work. Which came back pcos. I was started on metformin August 13. I did not have a period at all in August and have yet to start since. I have been ttc and not sure if I might be pregnant or if it it due to metformin. If anyone has experienced any of this or knows something..please help!
