This is what I do. I first clean her off with warm rag. Then pay dry. Then I put aquafor healing ointment on it

I second just wiping clean and change he bib a couple times a day. If we address (wipe and dry clothing) the rash at the first sign of redness, it goes away in less than 30 minutes 
We use 
Aveeno baby face and hands wipes or just wash cloth with water. 
Burt’s Bees Baby lotion, but I’ve never put it on his face. And Burt’s Bees Baby wash. It’s the only stuff that doesn’t make his skin dry

Our dermatologist recommended rubbing either Vaseline or Cerave healing ointment around the neck/drool area. 
Drooly bibs have also helped.
