Most "polite" Valentines day card I could imagine
My husband gave me this Valentines card. Didn't even sign say I love you or anything. Just his name like a business deal. We've been married 6 years and even if there were some stressful relationship issues at the time he'd try to go super romantic to make it better. This card to me just screamed "obligatory card so it can't be said I didn't do anything for Valentines day". All he did was leave it on the counter next to my water bottle. It actually feels insulting that he got it all and tells me he's done trying and doesn't give a crap. Oh, and I'm not really an animal person nor have been into animals so it's not like it was a thought process of thinking I liked animals so much I'd find it cute. How would you perceive or take this? Makes me wonder what the mistress got 🤦🏼♀️ totally kidding btw lol. We have issues, clearly, but he'd not go that route. I've actually gotten much nicer letters, emails and cards from my ex husband since our divorce than this and we had a bad divorce. Heck, my ex husband takes the kids out to pick out gifts for me from them that are nicer than this. And no my husband has never taken the kids out to get anything and the last 2 Christmas holidays and birthdays he made me send him a link of what's on my Amazon wish list rather than find something thoughtful to buy, or even do.
