Would/are you allowing your mother in-law in the room while pushing??

Mine has been trying to force her way into my delivery room. She wouldn't let up about it until I threatened police, and now she's kept her mouth shut. We aren't sure if she won't still show up though, likely will have to hire security. (We had to hire security for my baby shower too.) It sounds like overkill but trust me it's completely necessary

My MIL is like a second mother to me, but I don’t want anyone there but my husband.

I’m having a c section, but even if I wasn’t there is no way I would have my mother-in-law in  the room!  room! We’ve never been close and as she is my husbands step mom, they really aren’t close either.

Eff no lol. My MIL has barely any boundaries. We are not even telling them I am in labour. We don’t want her to interrupt the skin to skin time and our personal family time (doesn’t help that she is 10 mins from the hospital I will be delivering at), so she will be getting a call awhile after baby is born.

The same way id want my mom to be there, my MIL should be as well. She’s a grandmother as well. I think it’s kinda rude how some people choose to be with their MIL. One day that might be them 🤷🏻‍♀️

I absolutely love my MIL but I only want my mother and husband in there with me for it. 😊 and everyone is in agreement and totally fine with that decision.

For me personally, if my M.I.L. wants to be in the room during the delivery I would let her. Same way I would let my mom in the room. It’s her grand-baby too. ❤️ I just wouldn’t want to take that experience from her.
