Snoo bassinet

Question

Has anyone tried the snoo bassinet or plans on buying one?? I have a friend who swears by it and my first born has always been a light sleeper so I’m very interested.

We had the Halo and our son wouldn’t sleep in it. The Snoo successfully rocks him to sleep and keeps him sleep for about an hour to two for his naps. He still won’t sleep in it overnight but we’re able to finally put him down for naps. 
I rented it when he was 3 months and will be sending it back when he’s around 6 months.

The price is high...but i just didn’t want my baby to get use to going to sleep like that because if we travel or he or she isn’t with us it might get use to that rocking motion..if that make sense

I would if it wasn’t $1200 and so small. The baby grows out of it rather quickly for that amount of money. Just not worth it to me.

No, the price is insane. They let you “rent” one now but the price per day for as long as you would need it, you could just buy a new or used one. I see them all the time for resale in really great condition.

I got a bassinet from a friend and I’m so glad I didn’t waste money on it. My son still won’t sleep anywhere except my arms or his swing.

We have it. Baby is due April 1st so we haven’t had the chance to use it yet but everyone I’ve talked to that has one swears by it.

Also I should point out that I would never buy a brand new one because of the price but I am looking at a used one. Especially with already having a toddler I need some sleep and can’t hold the second baby while he naps like I did with the first.

People with their Snoo bassinets and their Owlet socks...sigh. It’s all incredibly excessive. Just get a safe bassinet. We got the Halo, and I am sure it will work great. 🤦‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️
