Fever-adding degree to underarm?
Are you supposed to add a degree to underarm temps? My daughter started getting a fever of around 102 Friday night. It comes down after Tylenol, but seems to creep back to around 100-101 after the 4 hour mark of taking medicine. She has a minor cough and a mild runny nose, and is pretty much acting fine otherwise. This morning, her fever was back to 102 under her arm but still acts like she’s feeling alright.
Of course it’s Sunday, so my pediatrician is closed. I’ve been debating wether to take her to urgent care. 102 is high, but 103 seems really high if I have to add a degree! Just trying to decide if she warrants an urgent care visit or if we should wait until tomorrow morning to see her doctor.
