Defeated?

Anyone else feel totally defeated by this first trimester. I'm 8 weeks, 1 day and feel like my body is not my own anymore 😟

I felt HORRIBLE until week 9, and by week 10 things were significantly better... week 7&8 were the worst though. I hope you start feeling better soon!

Yes!! This is baby #2 and I am miserable. I’m almost 11 weeks and still sick all the time. The whole eating to keep the nausea away thing doesn’t work for me. It’s exhausting!!! And I can’t function, which is making me even more upset because I have so much to do 😫😫😫

I’m almost 11 weeks and I am juuuuuust now starting to see glimpses of myself again. I definitely know what you’re talking about, but know that it gets better! You will feel like your normal self again in good time.
A friend of mine said it best, pregnancy does an amazing job of preparing us for parenthood! This process of losing control over your body is all a part of caring for a little one. It’s so hard, but it’s not needless.
