Is this normal for nexplanon?

I got my nexplanon implant one week ago tomorrow and it hurts to touch. I tried ice and it helped a little, but it didn't look like this until yesterday and today. Not sure if this is normal because I've never had nexplanon.

This was my removal - but my insertion was pretty much identical! Nothing to worry about unless it’s incredibly painful!

How was your periods while using nexplanon? I got mine put in 2 weeks ago and started period a week after..worried it won’t stop?

Yess it's normal! My bruises lasted for about a month.

I personally didn't have this at all. It was tender for a couple of days and that's it. I was never in pain from it or anything like that. Same with the removal.
