It’s not a big deal at all I just want to talk to him bc we haven’t talked all week (he’s military and has been in the field and Is being deployed next week) when he sent this he just got back from hanging out with friends. I just don’t want him to think I’m keeping him away from things. But I just really want to talk to him.

Ask him if he can compromise and only spend an hour or two with his buddies. Or just be honest and tell him no & why. He should understand that you need time with him too. Or ask him to stop in first to talk and hang out for a bit then he can go.
