I went on my first ever date the other day and we had been texting for a week before the date and we had been getting along really well so I was nervous for the date but also expected it to go well and I thought it did for the most part. I’m in college so it was a pretty low key date and I knew he was looking for a relationship not a hookup so those boundaries were pretty clear but we got dinner and watched a movie in his room. We actually watched the movie and had a good conversation during dinner and while watching the movie I was trying to establish some physical contact and he wasn’t fending it off but he also wasn’t reciprocating it and at the end of the night he drove me and we hugged. And the next day I texted about something we talked about on the date and like four hours later he responded and it was an enthusiastic response but we didn’t go back and forth like we did before the date and then today i decided to text him and just tell him I had a nice time but I’m pretty sure at this rate he’s not interested in seein me again. I’m just kind of confused in how he could so quickly lose interest in me considering we had been talking for a week and he already knew what I looked like.
