He’ll be 6 weeks Thursday and this past week he’s been eating 14-15 times a day. He goes 2-4 hours between feedings at night but during the day its a fight to go more than an hour at a time between feedings. I have really fast milk and i leak a lot, so theres not really a concern that i’m not producing enough. He eats anywhere from 7 to 15 minutes at a time. His weight gain is great but its killing my nipples and he won’t eat if i have lanolin on.

He has a very specific cry and hand movement that means “hungry” and i don’t want to starve him. What do i do? Has anyone dealt with this? Is it another growth spurt?

Edit: he didn’t eat this frequently until about a week ago. He would go 2.5 hours between feedings and ate for the same length of time.
