My mom and I had a bit of an argument today so I want your opinions. Today was my daughters 100th day of school and the kids were suppose to look 100 years old today. I used makeup and gave my daughter some fake wrinkles, bags under the eyes and some pink lipstick. Oh and we sprayed her hair silver. My mom says I'm wrong for putting makeup on my 5 year old, no matter the reason. I personally feel there is nothing wrong with having fun on dress up days, Halloween and such. It's not like I put makeup on her every day, just today. My daughter won the best 100 year old look and even got her picture taken for the yearbook for it. She was excited and loved it so that's what matters most to me. She saw her cousin make up done for it last week and wanted me to do hers for it so I did.

What are your thoughts? Is it okay to use makeup for special dress up days for young children or no?
