Sciatic pain?

Hey ladies! Ever since having my daughter 4 weeks ago, my right hip has been giving me trouble. It first started from sittting and nursing, but had graduated to hurting when I lay on my sides. It hurts no matter what side I lay on and hurts doing normal activity. I see my doc in 2 weeks and plan on bringing it up, but would appreciate anything to look into as far as relief.

I don’t know if you’d be against it, but cannibus with menthol cream definitely helped me I swear I only had my husband message the area a couple times in a week and it went away.

I would ask your dr for Physical Therapy and cbd oil would definitely help.

Same happened to me after my daughter, But for me it was because the condition already existed, just the pregnancy hormones and carrying the baby exacerbated the issue. I didn’t even have a vaginal birth 🤷‍♀️ There are really no answers except going to physical therapy, or doing stretches at home. I chose to do the stretches at home. Both of my sides/hips were hurting constantly. It took about 3 years for it to get better. It seems like it started getting better after I lost all of the weight I gained during pregnancy. Now I just get occasional flareups, for which I use a shiatsu massager with heat and do the stretches.

I read a while back that a woman fractured her pelvis while delivering and had similar issues. I’d definitely bring it up to your doctor, but it might be best to see if an urgent care can take care of it and do an X-ray

Try a chiropractor, it helped me so much after I had my last baby!
