So, I was messaging this guy from bumble for a few days. We had plans to meet up for lunch this Saturday. He suggested we FaceTimed first so we wouldn’t be as nervous meeting up for the first time and I was like “yeah sure!” We FaceTimed after he got off work and he was in his parked car in his driveway. We talked for a long time about everything and each other. We had a lot in common. I realized how long he was sitting in his car and I was like “you can go inside your house if you want to I don’t want you to think you have to sit out in your car all night lol” and he was like okay! And he got out of his car and walked to his front door. It looked like he was struggling to unlock the front door because his hands were full. He looked back into the camera and was like “hey let me call you back in a second” and of course I was like “no problem!” And then I waited. About 10 minutes passed and I finally got a text.

I was absolutely shocked. Everything seemed like it was going so well. He was smiling and laughing and telling me all about himself!! I was having a genuinely good time talking to him. He never answered me. And unmatched me on bumble. I just don’t know what went wrong and honestly it made me really sad. I wasn’t sure if I had done something or said something. Or maybe he didn’t like how I looked. I’m not sure. I wouldn’t say I am heartbroken because I hadn’t known him all that long, but damn- I am pretty sad about it. Idk what I’m looking for in posting this. I guess I just needed to say it all to process it. Has this happened to anyone else? If you read all of this, bless you. ❤️
