Sex and membrane sweep??

Question

Ok I’m going to see my midwife tomorrow, is it rude to have sex tonight? Like she’s going to sweep my membranes and there will be sperm inside me still. Is that inconsiderate of me or something? What do you guys think? I’m hoping having sex tonight might get things going. Or at least soften my cervix.

I think it’s totally fine. She will have a glove on.

I wouldn't worry about it. Doctors want you to have sex towards the end because it helps with getting the cervix ready, plus when she does your sweep she won't know, the semen will be leaked out by then.
