Why do people buy a dock a tot.....

Question

When you can purchase a dog bed for a million times cheaper??? Am I the only one who is considering doing this? They make dog beds of all shapes and sizes that would fit a newborn just perfect.

obviously the bed would not be used by dogs 😂

But let me know if you also think this is a freakishly good idea????

Its a safety thing. Dockatots are designed for babies and made of breathable material which is dagger to lay baby in

I’m guilty I got a docatot for my baby and although overpriced yes  I found mine at Marshall’s for under $100.  Doggy bed kinda an interesting idea but may not be breathable or as cozy.

I have a doc-a-tot and absolutely loved it! Let my friend borrow it for her baby and she loved it as well. I’m sure you could find one used and get a new slip cover for it to save money. 
It seems like people that have never owned one seem to be the ones to criticize it. I agree it’s definitely very expensive but it’s made for a baby not a dog so has ruled safety concerns. 
Although the idea is clever, I would be cautious experimenting with a dog bed for a baby.

I even used the diaper changing pad once and a while for my 1st babe. She would snooze on it comfortably (when it was on the ground and I was watching her). People swear by the DocATots, but I can’t afford that!

I got the “snuggle me organic” on amazon, it’s cheaper than a doc a tot. I don’t think the doggy bed would provide as much support/comfort though. They really get snuggled in between the edges. You could try it though! The snuggle me bed was the only thing I get my daughter to sleep in at first so I am really an advocate lol

I SWEAAAAR. 
My husbands cousin was on and on about wanting one and I’m like “it’s an overpriced dog bed....” and she swore it wasn’t. I used a dog bed for my son when we’d go to our family’s farm and have cookouts. I’d lay him on the table (everyone is sitting and surrounding it) and he was able to stretch out and nap. He really enjoyed it. He’d lay under the umbrellas while everyone ate and played with him lol

I used a dog bed ans a childrens couch for my 2 year old !! The cober was washable !!

Nooooo don’t do that. Maybe if you’re just using it for during the day but don’t let baby sleep in that.
