Knockoff Mucinex D safe or not?

I’m 25w6d pregnant and have the worst congestion and a really sore throat. I called my doc but they haven’t called back yet.
It’s the Walgreens version of Mucinex D and it’s the only thing in the house... I’ve tried to look it up and have been getting mixed answers.

My midwife has Mucinex D on the list of things that are safe to take. That and Sudafed

No head decongestants are safe to take. Especially mucinex D. Try a netty pot with distilled water! It did wonders for my congestion when I had the flu.
