Avery for a boy??

Heard a little boys name is Avery and it’s just odd to me, looking for other opinions?🤔 I mean idgaf don’t get me wrong, and I don’t wanna parent shame or anything, I’m just curious to see what the majority thinks lol

I honestly never knew it was a girls name till recently. I went to school with a guy named Avery nobody ever said anything about his name being feminine. I personally prefer it for a boy than a girl.

I've only ever known Avery to be a boy name so that's what I associate it with. Never met a girl named Avery. I guess it's okay name for either gender.

It’s been pretty popular for girls for at least the last 13 years and is in the top 15ish in the US. It doesn’t even break the top 100 for boys. It is unisex but I personally prefer it for girls.

One of my best friends in school had a little brother whose middle name was Avery. That was the first time I heard it. Since then I have heard it as a girl’s name except 1 boy I have at the school where I work named Avery. It is a unisex name, but I personally like it more for a girl.
