RMA experiences?

Question

Has anyone used Reproductive Medicine Associates of New York?

My husband and I are ready to try <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> (my doctor recommends it, but she doesn’t perform the procedure herself) and I’ve been looking for a practice that takes my insurance.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has used RMA (good or bad experiences).

Had a horrible experience there: Dr. Stein is the biggest downer. Nobody I know (6/6) actually got pregnant there and then got pregnant at Weill or CCRM. They only want easy cases, bragged about freezing Google employees’ eggs (scored the contract), and pushed egg donors over 40 like used car salesman. They reject difficult cases because it ruins their stats per multiple sources...that’s how they got that Google contract I guess! They are relatively cheap and take insurance.

A friend of mine went there and successfully had a baby after IVF. She says it’s know to be a “baby factory” which in our opinions is a good thing.

Make sure you are under 40 or they’ll treat you like a full waste of time.

Billing can be complicated but glow helps a lot.

I’ve had two friends who had successful experiences, one did IUI and one did IVF
Another friend wasn’t a fan because she felt like it was a “factory” get you in get you out. Everyone’s experiences will always be different but considering I had two friends who were successful then I would say overall it’s good. Definitely stay on top of billing and know why your insurance does and doesn’t cover, that was one  complaint I did hear them mention.
