I went in for my 20 week anatomy scan. Everything looked perfect, but I was told my inhibin A was high - 2.1. All other levels from my blood work were in normal range. I had a normal 12 week scan and NIPT testing came back normal. Doctor gave me a list of all the risks and now I’m really nervous. She wasn’t concerned about Down Syndrome or Trisomy 18, since the NIPT was normal and scans are as well. But said that can be a sign that the placenta isn’t healthy and risks include preeclampsia, fetal death, pre term labor and low birth weight. Now it’s all I can think about. Has anyone experienced this? And had a healthy 2nd and 3rd trimester and birth?
