Does caffeine really make your periods worse?

I've heard people say too much caffeine right before or during can affect how bad your period is. I am a caffeine junkie, can't go a day without it. & my periods are always super heavy & bad cramps.

Sort of... being dehydrated can make cramping worse so if you drink a lot of caffeine and not a lot of water you will probably suffer more.
Just drink lots of water along with your coffee :)

I used to drink pots of coffee and had a light flow. Now I only have two cups and have a heavy flow. It certainly isn’t true for me.

I have 2 cups of coffee everyday & drink energy drinks regularly & my periods are extremely mild. They only last 3  days & no pain or heavy bleeding.
