Spotting/missed period

So I was spotting for a few days around Jan 31. My suspected ovulation was Jan 26. I’m pretty sure that was way to early for implantation bleeding but now I’m 8 days past my expected period. Anyone have any idea what might be going on? I mean could my body just be off right now? I’ve never spotted before between periods so this was weird for me.
