Meat question!

I just bought some ground beef on sale that expires tomorrow. I won't be using it until Friday and Sunday though.

Can I cook it all today or tomorrow and just keep the cooked beef in my fridge until I'm ready to use it? Or should I just portion it out and freeze it raw, and then cook it when I'm ready?
